School History

History project. We're doing Sejarah sekolah this year and our group topic is Latar belakang sekolah. It sounds easy but it's brain straining! My group hasn't done much yet and we have to pass it up like, in September something. Scanning ancient project done by former students of KK High. I salute them larh...their projects were done so well, even the guys. And guess what? These projects can be antiques...from the year 1992 punya...I'm not even born yet! But then...they are so much better to read compared to the projects nowadays. I admit. My previous projects were totally a boo! compared to theirs.

Un-facinating...

Mum said that I wasn't responsible yesterday, letting kung to wait for my call to pick me up from school after prayer meeting. Again, the time topic. It bites but then mum and dad sometimes too won't be on time. blech.

Youth was cancelled yesterday. Dad was so mad because we weren't informed earlier. The current was out, traffic was so bad, dad had to take the KK High road which is a longer distance and when we sampai, no one was there. Mum later SMS-ed saying that it's cancelled. sigh.

Nothing much today. sleep larh...

We banged

Everyone was so mad. Some even cried about their result, not many were happy. Anyways, I scored a pretty lame 47. eek. I don't know what to say to mum later. I really did study you know!

Prayer meeting was totally cool today. About 20+ showed up. cheers. Great testimonies.

Now...the story of the day. it's called

THE LOUSY PUBLIC PHONE.

[a true story that happend to Abby]

After the prayer meeting, I headed over to the phone booth to call kung.

So, i put the first 10 cent coin in. It was stuck.

You know how dumb I could be sometimes right?

I put the other 10 cent coin, hoping that this will push the stucked coin and the I will be able to call but...

the one I put in later got stuck as well. Gosh.

So, I started banging the phone. Bang~bang~bang~

Then Rachel (I met her last year...netball team) came and said "oh...stuck!" and started banging.

Then she said "cuba kau pukul..",

then I banged,

she banged (!)

and her friends banged.

WE BANGED.

And yet, still no money came out.

So, one of her friends used her nail clipper(pengawas mahh..) to try to push the coin down but the nail clipper was too short.

And then..haha, smart me.

I suggested the ruler!

So I gave Rachel the ruler and she started putting it through the coin hole.

Later....wakaka. many many coins came tumbling out!

It was like more than a dollar!

So I said thanks and we shared the money.

I started to insert a coin again, and guess what?!

It got stuck!! Moron!!!

So, the pengawas with the nail clipper took the ruler and poke it through the hole again.

The money went down and more more more coins came out.

Share again.

Thanks again.

Classes today were pretty much boring but I liked the part when they kept interupting our class with the pengumuman-s. llol. The teachers were like "oh...not again" with a really unhappy look on their face. hahaha.


Basketball perjumpaan just now. I don't fancy it much. It's a total bore. I don't even like basketball. blech. So, Marie and Pae Yii accompanied me to the court to get my co-cum card back but the teacher won't let me get my card back! So bad. Oh yeah, when we almost reached the court, Karee suddenly jumped out of the bushes! Well...not quite but similiar. It was sooo funny. Stephanie was behind her. tehehe. So we blah~ed for quite a long time under the tree, standing on the gross mud ground. eek. Marie kept clucking about her Ah Chai and all, saying that he's sitting there and what what what. oohh...I'm gonna blow soon!


Karee, Marie and Aly kept talking about the infamous ai-ren over and over again. Adui please...I don't have a crush on him naymore larh. Can't you guys get over it?! cheers

Bang goes me again but I really mean this. Hello!?! I started learning and then chipped in Marie and Aly and now Karee. Umm...call me selfish and all but it's just what I think and feel. If it's really your dream of mastering guitar scales and all, GO AHEAD! I will support you guys.

BAND. As the word goes through my crazy brain, I started thinking about my singing. It's been long since I've back-up sang for the youth. I miss it a lot. A LOT. Okay, besides that, this huge question got into my head,

"Abby, can you really sing?!"

Ermm.... I might answer with a strong YES but then it really really got me thinking. I don't sing like other girls do, I don't sing like guys either. Aiyah...The only thing I know is to have fun with my voice box. I can do really really high pitches but I can sometimes go pretty low too. But. There is one thing I found out. People always say that I can't hit this pitch or "oh..you can sing" blah.....critisicm. I know one thing for sure, God gave me my voice to lift His name up. Seriously. I can sing How Great Thou Art better than the easy peasy stars are blind. I can hit the note in One Way but I can't do it in too little too late. I have lots and lots of fun singing to the Lord. God is great.

So, I sing for God, not for men.

So so, my answer is still a very very strong YES. (no matter what you say about me being perasan and all. Who cares lah...you jealous saja mah....=P)

From what I realised, boys just like to have fun, they're not serious about anything. Of course, this does not apply to all the boys but it surely does apply to the boys in my class. Gosh. I can't stand them anymore. It's like everything you say or do is a great big joke. Grow up guys! Umm.... I think they need to get to know Ps. Jonathan. hahaha. He can teach them about serious fun, like what he taught me in the camp. =)

I scored 99 in English!!!

Yeah...i'm a bit of a show off. hahaha. But my Malay was so bad. A really bad 50. Ahh...the rest is alright larh. lazy wanna talk about this. Keep up Abby!

Yeap. It's raining outside okay. Have you heard of this nursery rhyme before? It's pretty famous. The original one was about an old man snoring larh...not Abigail. Nursery rhymes are amusing. To bad young toddlers nowadays only watch Mickey and Higglytoen Heroes. I was stuck with nursery rhymes and the kiddie shows which Kuma brought back from Brighton. I was glad I was stuck. tehehe

We got back some of our test papers. Pretty "okay" results. I want the rest to be totally better. I want all As ah....don't play play.

Got lots of corrections to do. Pretty lame huh? After test and yet we still have to do correction. Waste of time, paper and ink!

History project.

Teacher wants to see our process tomorrow. My group hasn't done much since the first checking. As the group leader, I'm pretty much ashamed of myself. Sigh. Better go do now larh... Or else I'll be history.

I want to make things clear. Crystal clear. Maybe it's because many of you guys assume that I don't care about this really great thingee but nevermind. I'm telling you NOW and you better read carefully, with your 7 eyes opened wide.

I'm different, compared to the other growing teenagers. Yes, many said that I tend to be more mature and all but I tell you now, in a way, I am mature but on the other side I'm pretty much a 14 year old trying to have great fun with her life. I take things seriously sometimes (or most of the time) but I do have the intention to have great fun. I'm not a lawyer, I'm just me.

Ah...

Accompanied Nick to his chinese chess competition in SAPP this morning. So sial. So panas. Then dad and I went to his office. After a while then we went back. MAKAN. then food was nice. The curry was so pedas! Nick didn't finish the whole competition. He only played 3 rounds instead of 6. All the guys really geng, Nick only won 1 game, out of the 3. hehehe

Challenging Lifestyle

I'm back folks! The youth camp was soooooooo fun!!!! We slept at about 1.30 a.m last night (this morning). wwwaaaahhhhhh ... all the food! I think i gained some weight. hahaha

We seek a move of God to impact lives and our genenration.

Four days to learn. To encounter Him. To be changed and to be the change.

I'm really changed. The bond between the Lord and I are now closer than ever. I love Jesus! Jesus loves me.

Gosh!

The feelings are so hard to explain and all but i tell you, the camp was really really supendously(?) FUN!

Day 1 (18 of 8)

Arrived All Saints and about 3. Mandy accompanied me to my room. I was the only one amongst Liana, Mandy, Berenice, Janice, Jesslyn and I, to be sleeping upstairs, on the 7th floor. The rest of them were on the 4th. We later had dinner and started our Challenging Lifestyle 1. Rev. Thiam Choy was the speaker. Slept at about 11 plus.

Day 2 (19)

Woke up at 2 a.m and 4 a.m. The air-cond was super cold and I couldn't switch it off. Later woke up at 5+. Got ready for morning devotion. Sat with groups for morning devotion. I was in JOYFUL (joyful joyful we adore ye). After the talks, we headed to our respective workshops to learn something facinating. hahaha. I was in the Photography workshop. Louis Pang was our "mister". His pictures were so lively and so amazing. He taught us really great stuff. visit www.louispang.com. I'm sure you'll be amazed. We had the Mini Olympics after the workshop. It was pretty lame and all, I have to say. We have to skip with one leg, our lembing was a satay stick, the peluru was tissue paper. We had to crawl on grass. Gosh! I was really itchy after all that. A shower was just the right thing to do at that time. Uh...before that, we had Vico. hahaha. Shower. dinner. CL 3. Fellowship. Sleep.

Day 3 (20)

Everything was same as yesterday. Except for the fact that we did not play the Mini Olypics anymore. It was a big YAY! though. We payed "the game of life" instead. It was fun. We had to go to run here run there to get $$$ and then buy stuff and then get insentive, pay taxes, take exams, do exercises, read the bible, give offering and all. That was the time when I sweat the most thorughout the whole camp. We did not have any workshops today. We listened to Rev. Khee Vun (or k-h-e-e-v-u-n)'s teaching about B0y Girl Realtionship (BGR). Everyone went high on that one. That nisht, we had the 1 minute to fame competition. The boy who was the champion, sang amazing grace so amazingly. He can join American Idol lah... Creative guy was also really funny. Judges...you guys were awesome! I like the part when you guys did the YY dance. wakaka

Day 4 (21)

The game of life continued. Codi was the winner. hahaha. Closing ceremony was a blast! We gila terus. It was awesome.

Due to the ultimate boringness...I'll write about the badminton match which all Malaysians watched yesterday night!

Right...it was a great big celebration! Though Lee didn't get a gold medal but at least he got a medal for Malaysia. A silver one. Better than none mah...He was pretty nervous, i guess. When he was on the court, his face was like soooo pale and Lin Dan's face was shining. I just prayed that he will win. Serious.



"I was nervous at first but got more confidence as the game went on," ... "There is a lot of pressure on me here to get a medal"

That's what he said.

He made Malaysians proud. Seeing the Jalur Gemilang raised up during the medal ceremony, it was so great. We finally had a medal!

Going to leave home for the youth camp in...erm...a few hours =). Really really excited! yippppeeee..

Liana and I got into the photograpghy workshop! Haha...means many pictures will be posted after the camp! The rest of them joined either videography, public speaking or social etiquette. Mandy is going to do some glass painting during her arts and craft workshop! So fun. Aaron isn't going. BOO! He's going to his class trip instead of this super youth camp! Trust me, he'll miss out A LOT!

Because i'll be home away for the week, i will be unable to update my blog or sign into my msn. A thousand apologies. But i will give you a great insight of the camp after I come back. cheers

Ah! Exams were done yesterday. I hope that my grades will be better this time, way better. Civic was hard. All the parliment and demokrasi things came out. I totally tembak lah..

Malay? I wanna cry already. I heard Khoo saying that I was the worst scorer for the class. My goodness....i seriously don't want to join tuition. It's just me, the no tuition girl.

Currently changing my blog skins. I haven't found one that suits my personality. Will be trying to get one (or maybe code one myself!).

Marie has gone to Sibu. Her flight was 6 yesterday. Hope she'll have fun.

Laura is leaving later at 11 a.m. I'm gonna miss her sooooo much. She's a great person, a great role model. Oh Lord, grant her journey mercy and pray that she'll always live life Your way.

The cake was yummy! And also the agar-agar and Pizza larh...tehehe.

Exam ²

Puan Nor Reta told me that my Malay di bad. I got worst grades than my previous exam. Means my grades this time will be worse than 58%. I'm going to die! Mum said that she'll put me to tuition at that Rainfield teacher if my Malay doesn't satify her. Do you think 50 tiny points would satisfy mum? I don't think so. Please, i pray that my other subjects will be above the B rank.


I was pretty mad at myself. Not getting good grades. I did study hard. Harder than ever, even harder than those times when i sat for the UPSR. Have you ever seen Abby locking herself in the room, forcing herself to study? NO. I gave up tv for books, dudes. I guess I have to give up my dinner in order to get a perfect straight 8As for next year's PMR. ugh

Exam

We had Malay, Math, Moral and History today. All I can say is that i made a stupid careless mistake. I didn't lable the midspoint in my Math paper. Bang goes one point. All the papers were pretty okay. Tomorrow is going to be alright, i guess. Science, English, Art Theory and Home Ec. Now, i want all As this time. Okay, maybe As and Bs. I don't want no C. It's better like that. hahaha. Pray hard!!

Fish and Chicken

First and foremost, THIS IS A STORY.

Now, let me introduce the two main stars,

the guy chicken (rooster larh dui!)

and the lady fish

These are not the stars, they're just pictures, okay?

Now, they live in the farm. duh. The fish lives in the fish pond and the chicken, in the coop. The chicken usually likes to head to the pond when it has it's walk. The fish will then always stare at the chicken. Soon, the fish actually FELL IN LOVE with the chicken!!

One day, the fish got all her guts (ever are fish guts??)and went forward to where the chicken was standing. Looking into his big chicken eyes, the fish said,

"bbblooooooppp bbbbllloooopppp blop blooppp"

("Chicken, I like you")

Then chicken was blurrr. He was really confused. Then, he replied,

"cock?"

("what?")

The fish didn't seem to understand and so, she said it again, hoping that he'll understand this time,

"bbblooooooppp bbbbllloooopppp blop blooppp"

But. The chicken still didn't get it and he starte to be impatient. The fish tried and tried but the brain of the chicken was still b-l-a-n-k.

It was almost evening and the farmer was chasing all his cows, goats and chicken into their respective sleeping hives. The chicken still didn't understand until he was really mad. So he said,

"cooccccckkkk ccccocccccoookkkkk!?"

I can't really talk much today because i have to continue studying. Math, Malay, History and Moral tomorrow. Gosh! I'm gonna faint! I didn't bring books to po's lagi. dui.

Anyways...about the chicken and the fish. I don't know whether they're in a realtionship or not but all I can say is

Now, exams are coming up tomorrow and I'm rushing to read my Geography books. Pray that i'll get good good grades. I wish not to fail any of the subjects, i want As and Bs only! No C or D or E!!!!

Building a church

During the prayer meeting this morning, da yung (dan tat) said that he has a dream of building a church next to the padang, on the land which grows only trees, yeah. We'll have to tebang the pokok, that's not a really good thing. Cutting trees down. Why don't we just build the church in the centre?? syok then. =) Anyways, we don't know when will this come true but we just commit this to the Lord. Samuel Ong (there are a lot of people named Samuel here!) kept dreaming of going to the auditorium. He has the auditorium madness dream. I think he really likes the place. But maybe one day we will be able to fill the auditorium, us Christians, and the Lord will fill his love and glory in every corner of the audtorium. Wonderful.

The formal prayer meeting held after school at the Multimedia room was great! 23 students turned up. This was the first time and it's a great start. Even those form the chinese CF joined us. How fun. Many students saw awesome visions from God, as for me, God gave me a few words,

Don't give up!

Do what you want to do, reach what you want to reach and I will be there for you.

Totally amazing.

Father Lord, i just pray that more and more people will come to join us in prayer and more and people will come to know you Lord. Father Lord, I just pray for the christians in shcool that they will be strong christians and that they will bring more people to You. Father I just pray that we'll ba able to do your will. Amen.

We are ready!!! Gosh!.=" My brother always changes the channel to channel 826 on Astro just to listen to that song. THE WHOLE DAY. Anyways....it's the Olympics today!!! Yipppppeeeeee!!!!! But (ugh!) i have youth today so i'll have to miss the LIVE grand opening at 8.08:08 pm tonight. We might be singing to God at that time. yeah. I can watch the repeat marh! hehehe...

Really want to congratulate the China-ians (chinese) for building such wonderful "megastructers" for the olympics. You make the chinese proud y'all contractors, architects, engineers, labourers and all! You guys rock Beijing!

Prayer = power

The teachers in school kept saying that students kept posting bad things about the teachers in the internet. I don't know whether it's me or not but i hope it isn't. I don't wish to get into any trouble. Because of that, i will be talking about other topics, school topics will only be discussed when it is nessesary.

For today's 40 days fast and prayer, we continue to pray for a change in the church. Please pray for our fellow church leaders. (read. 1 Corinthians 1:10-17) Pray that they will have a strong christian character and Live on God's word. Also have the wisdom at home have unity in their hearts. This not only points to the church leaders, but it points to us as well. We must be role models to the non-christians. Act like you're a christian. Don't give a chance to other people to say that "oh...he/she is a christian?? She sure doesn't seem like one!" NO! We must not let other people think like that so...do your thing.

Father Lord, I just pray for the christians in our school. I pray that they will be able to attend the prayer meeting every morning. I also pray that they will bring their non-christians friends to the meeting so that they will impacted and accept Christ. Father Lord, I pray for my friends. Lord, though they are christians but some of them still don't know You Lord. Father please grant me the wisdom and the endurance to talk to them about You. For those who haven't come to know you let Lord I just pray that You will be able to use me to bring them close to You. Father, I just pray that the family of our school will become the the family of You, Lord. I pray for the school, pray that you'll bless everyone in it and always guide them through their work. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I went to Karee's place to chat because i completed my writing

"Issit because you're having the *ahem*, that's why you're crazy?"

Karee said yes.

Kimberly added

"You know when i told u kan.....that Gavin looked at the spot lorh. Then he laughed"

Everyone was silent and then we all shouted in "ewness"

"wah...who like Gavin?"

I really am sorry Karee, i didn't mean to laugh at you when you were in the toughest situation of today. I really am sorry for not helping you. Please don't be mad! And don't cry! You looked like you wanted to cry you know? I was soooo scared. Be strong =P

I went to prayer meeting again, and also the recess one. I was soooo...really scared when Valerie asked me to lead the recess one....you know i can't really speak in public. But then, with God's help, i made it through. Thank You!

Friendship day was yesterday and i almost almost forgot! Anyways...

HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY!!

Friends are friends forever, if the LORD's the LORD of them. I really do believe in this. Adele and Liana and I are best friends till now because we have HIM in out hearts! yay!

School today was honestly really sleepy. Marie dosed off. haha. Anyways, we haven't did our Science yet. Pn. Anisa said that we'll get our chance on Wednesday. Oh i can't wait! Anywas, i'll be the one doing the talking. The rest are gonna stand beside me, and one holding the diagram. hahaha. I don't get why the group has to go stand in front of the class...awfully weird. But then, it's fun!

I went to join the prayer meeting this morning. I was the earliest one to be there. yehehe. It was pretty scary at first but haha, we're all brothers and sisters, what's there to be afraid of? So, i prayed for the exams, yes. Everyone in the school are sitting for the exams, except for the teachers, cleaners and clerks. I pray that everyone will pass, even if they don't pass, at least they tried their best, and give glory to God. I guess we're now moving to the Multimedia Room for the prayer meeting because they(we) go the room!!!!!! Hallelujah!!!

Besides the morning, i'll be joining them for prayer during recess. For the 40 days dast and pray. I can finally pray together with other people. I've alwasy prayed alone though. The atmosphere is sooo different. Fun. i wanna go tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow!!

My goodness! I didn't raealise that it's already the 2nd day of August! Time flies so fast! I haven't done a lot of things.... Dear me...i better get starting or else i have to wait next year..or next year..........hahaha

I am the REVOLUTION!

The reason why i said that is bacause i really felt the revolution in me. YES, i went to the Revolution party yesterday and i can say that it's a blast!! The message from Ps. Kenneth was really touching i find it the best of the night. The Praise and Woship was.....totally amazing. Truly Malaysian bacause they sang the songs written by themselves and they are so catchy, so ME. I loved it sooooo much. I want to go again. I didn't get any badges or tees which they threw some to the crowd, but i had brought home something which i would cherish all my life - God in my heart, the burning flame in my heart to preach His good news to many, the love He gave me....all these are a thousand times better than a badge or a tee, it's precious.

I remember the most about the pastor speaking about the Jehovah witnesses which came to his doorstep. The pastor said the Jehovah witnesses (the teens) would leave school for 1 or 2 years just to go to another country to preach their good news, their belief. What a great sacrifice they did for something they believed in, but what about us? Us real sons and daughters?! What have we done to preach the Good News of Jesus? Think.

Tears came to my eyes when Ps. Kenneth talked about the story of the cat. It related a lot to the story between God and His children. God wants the best out of us, the best for us. He will hurt himself just to protect us, Jesus sacrificed His life just to take away our sins. He will never hurt us, He loves us. And i'm not afraid to admit that I love Him. With Him, i can move the mountains! Yes, I can!

Snail fun!

We made i-clay snails yesterday during the youth meeting. It was sooooo fun. So, here are some of my respective snails. The clay was supposed to only make 1 snail but i made 3. hahaha. One big happy family. And thanks tosome contribution from Wen Le, i made a lollipop from the leftoever clay. Here are some snaps!

It was great fun! Jeremy even made one with the Elvis Presley hairstyle. Marie's made one for Karee. It was really cute, marble snail. tehehe. Sharon made one with a pink body, Kristin made a big football team! Hers are so cute! If we get the chance to play with this clay again, i would like to make one of ME. wakaka. just joking. It would be weird eh? ME making myself out of clay!

anger management...

This is basically about ...ahhhh...nevermind. I just wanted to share this nice picture i've found. tehehe

Now, grandmama is pretty fierce these days. She kept scolding us with foul words. This is bad. i think she needs anger management. For 5 weeks minimum. hahaha. I guess she needs to come to know God. I will try to pull her, but then, she likes to be a Buddist more. She likes going to the temple and all. It will be hard, but i'll try.

I don't know what happened today and all but i hope everything will be alright. Pray hard.

Gosh it's August already! Why does time fly so fast? It's Friday. Almost the end of the week. I haven't even went to search for the rubber sucker thingee. The presentation will be on Monday. I'm freaking out. I don't want to copy the "I Love Science" slogan like the guys did the other day, so embarassing. Let's get my engines working. i don't wish to fail Science, or my teacher, or my group mates. Have to go...be back after i found the rubber blah~
