Confessions

There once was a girl who took her SPM sometime in November. She was excited for her Physics paper, not because she was good at the subject, but she has improved the most out of all the other Science subjects. With help from her dad, reference books, and friends, she managed to pass the Physics paper in school-based exams.

The night before SPM, she did a little bit of revision, not wanting to stress herself out. She didn't want any more pimples to grow on her already-full-of-pimples forehead. Before she went to bed, she said a prayer, hoping that she would be able to answer the questions tomorrow, and that she won't be careless.

She did poorly in her paper one. The questions were tough and tricky. Although she did pretty bad, she did not give up in paper two. She was confident in that paper, and hoped that the scores she could get in paper two would cover up for paper one.

She checked and checked the paper, again and again. When it was time to pass up, she handed the answer sheet to the teacher with a smile.

3 seconds later, she realised that she hasn't completed her paper. The last section, of the last question, of the last part of the paper was left unanswered. That question, consists of 5 marks, which to her, means the world.

That girl was me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Burp-ger

My family and I spent the Raya Holidays in Kundasang, along with a dozen more families. It was a cell group outing, I must say. Had great fellowship, good food and played many rounds of Monopoly Deal.

Came down from Kundasang yesterday, tired as a hibernating polar bear. Slept early last night (okay, it's actually around 11pm) and got up at 5.30 this morning, to make some 830 burgers for the Anglican Chinese Youths.

Yup. A lady who is in charged of their food asked for our help to pack burgers so we said okay (:

And I didn't know that I would be so tired!!

Skip the packing part, we spent like 2 hours dealing with burgers. Later we had breakfast together. Guess what we had? BURGERS LAH!!

And I had TWO!!!!

In this case, the term 'two is better than one' is totally screwed =O
Sorry Boys Like Girls, I still love you guys!

After bombarding (Marie kept using this word in her post so it's stuck in my head) my stomach with burgers and tea, headed home. Went back to sleep.

Got down to Centre Point to catch a movie with the wushu mates. Lots of people. Bad timing. Never go down town during Raya. D: Watched Smurfs. It's a pretty good movie (: Reminds me of my childhood when I watched the Smurfs every afternoon before dinner. heh (:

But before the show, I had another BURGER! From McDonalds...

Am back now. Tired. Still tons of things undone! Neighbour invited us over for open house, but po and kung are coming over for dinner.

Not having burgers for a while. I think I'd spin if I see another one in front of me.

But we're having burgers tomorrow after Youth Alpha *buuuuuuuuuuuuuuurp

Law Olympiad 2011

If you want to read the post about the Olympiad which I took part in last year, click here

Last year, I think we were really blur and had no clue what we signed up for. This year, we were a wee bit smarter but guess what? We were outsmarted by another team, from our school. LOL. I think last year our team did pretty poorly, we almost came in last. But today we did super good in the first round. It's called 'Whodunnit?', a game where they give you 3 cases, and you are needed to find the culprit. The total marks of this game is 30 and you know what we got?? 29!!!

All of us were like, O___________________________O
Oh my. Never expected to get such high marks, and at that time, we were leading, unbelievable!

But in the end, we went home with the fourth place. We didn't get cash prizes like the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team did but we won in our hearts. My heart. Although we didn't do well in the game called 'Best Plea/Best Alibi', I still think we kicked some butt today. =D I mean, who gets a 29 over 30 in the first game, it like, never happen. Oh yeah.

So I'm very happy that we joined the competition. Win or lose, it doesn't matter at all. The highlight is that we had great fun during the whole process!! =D

A picture of us.
Boomchikalakaboomboom!!!

Group photo with our teacher-in-charge, the organizer and the other team from school (whom won second place. *show off!)

A freestyle one.

Then after that, we didn't want to leave the hall because this would probably the last time I'd visit Tshung Tsin's hall, hahaha, so we decided to take MORE pictures =) So we did the famous High School Musical jump snap =)

Sorry the editing so crappy, I had to be quick.
See? Our group knows how to work, and have fun =D

The day we will never forget!

This has been, by far, the most interesting day of our (Marie and I) lives.

Today's the last day of ... uhm, the half-year. Tomorrow marks the start of the second half of 2011. Yeah. Everyone knows that. But what they don't know is that Marie can officially say that she's 17 and a half!! HAHAHAHA.

Unfortunately, Marie said that it is the worst day of her life. How absurd. I think it was fun today (: I tell you why she thinks that. It all began when we were putting our Addmaths project together. Marie had punched 6 holes ( I dunno why so many) on the pile of paper, and tied them together using the yarn that I brought. Her initial plan was to go to a stationery shop to bind the project but then she was lazy, I guess. So she did it herself. After tying them up, she realized that she had forgotten to put in the score sheet!!! So she took of the yarn and put the sheet in. THEN SHE HAD TO DO THE YARNING AGAIN!!! (Okay. I don't know what term to use besides 'yarning'). Okay, mission accomplished. NOT!!! After a few minutes, I heard a swear coming out from her mouth. Then she was like, ' I forgot to draw the graph. nggggggggggggaai'

I was already bursting into laughter.

Then she said, 'This is the worst day of my life!!'

And there goes the drawing of the graph, the un-yarning, putting in the graph, and slowly poking the yarn through the 6 holes that she punched.

Oh, it's not over yet.

While putting the project together she sort of spoilt her table's wrapping ( uhm FYI the both of us wrapped our tables only TODAY!). Then she was frustrated again.

And so the misfortunes continue. And I was teasing that she's 17, and a half. HAHAHAHAHA

Moving on to my next interesting point,

The class sort of miss Bio today. As in, they miss having the lesson, not that we skipped class. The whole class was talking about the chapter that we're studying, reproduction. HAHAHA. Audrey even told the whole class that one of our friend (cannot say name lah later tohsoi) was ovulating today. LOL. Then everyone laughed gao gao.

Oh yeah and another friend was sad because she couldn't drink coconut water because she's having her period. LOL.

NOW. During Math class I got bored so I started clicking my pen non-stop. I WAS BORED, and I do weird things. So I was clicking and clicking and suddenly a girl which we nicknamed her "badminton girlfriend" turned around and stared at me. And so I stopped. Then I started to laugh. I told Marie about it and we started to have this idea of me clicking the pen to make the teacher look at us. I couldn't stop laughing after "badminton girlfriend" looked at me so I waited until my laugh stopped, and then i started clicking my pen, VIGOROUSLY. And we were both tahan-ing our laughs.

Sadly the teacher didn't look my way, instead Mimi (girl sitting in front of me) turned back and gave me the stare. hahahaha. And then we started laughing.

So yeah. The few things that made my day, and a few things that ruined Marie's day. Had to say that this is a day that I'll never forget, though it's lame and stuff but i still enjoyed it. =D It totoally lightened up the miserable weeks we had before today!

Going to the school concert this Saturday. FYI I've never been to the school concert for the past 4 years. Since this is the last year, I might as well go. hehehe. And tomorrow we got tickets to watach the Chinese Singing Competition in school. Someone's having a comeback stage, and we could not wait.

Teacher only got noodles, no rice (inside joke =P)

Have a break, have a ___________

KitKat?

Probably everyone who pays attention to advertisements know this catch phrase. If having a KitKat means stopping time and actually enjoying your bar of chocolate, then I will have less worries.

There a around 10 packs of KitKat in the refridgerator right now. All I can do is take one bar, quickly shove it in my mouth, and continue on with what I have to do. Planet Earth knows what. Homework, revision, mooting, church stuff. If I efficiently divide the 24 hours I have in a day to do all the work needed to be done, there is no time for me to have a KitKat. ='(

I've realised that I have compained and complained about not having enough time. Well, is there? People in class managed, friends I know kept up, what about me?

Perhaps I don't really plan my day well, use the tiny split seconds to complete a task with satisfaction. Ugh. I don't know. We all have 24 hours but somehow I don't think it's enough. I'm only 17, only sitting for SPM. I'm only a teenager. And I'm already complaining and struggling. What am I going to turn into when I'm 27, busy with my career? If I have a career...

The mooting competition is this Saturday and yeah, I'm nervous. For my team, for my team mates, for me. For our submissions. Oh no.

Be You - tiful

Many said that I edited my FB profile picture. darn lah. I didn't edit it. I just played with lighting and didn't wear my spectacles. That's called editing? It's called improvising. Don't ever think that you can't look good in a picture if you don't edit it. Your true self, is always, the prettiest.

Pucker up girls, You're beautiful!

Because God made us in His own image.
Don't tell me you never think you're pretty =P

Ethan is back <3
