Freedom of speech

Listened to the counseling teachers today in the auditorium. THE WHOLE DAY! No class for the day, though I wish there was.

Oh yeah, remember Cikgu Azmi's top 40? It's now top 80! But the top 20s will be under him larh, and they are aimed to get straight As. Me? I got ranking 27/80. Gosh... how I wish I was 17/80, then they would aim me, then I would put more effort in to study, then I would reach the target....then.

pissed. They only say we have to get 5As and above. pfft. I want 8, not 5. And I want to prove that I can do it! I will!

Valentine's day was yesterday yesterday. haha. WE had to go school on that day, which means I spent my morning in school! Oh! I walked to Shan Tao for the first time, because ma said that it would be troublesome for kung to pick Nick and then get caught in the massive traffic just to pick me up. So, bang goes walking. Luckily, I had Leonie and Audrey to walk with me. hehe.

Spent the afternoon in Teacher Jade's place. With Khin Enn, Joel and Joshua. We did the sketch book thingee and messed around. We drew all over the board too :D Well, it's not supposed to be us, it's only Joshua. We just conteng-ed a bit. He was the one being perasan. He also asked Teacher Jade's students to do his homework. Tell their parents that he's cute and copy 1000 times that he is handsome. =.= And we also played hangman =)) I love hangman, though I always get hanged.

Went out for dinner together with teacher Jade, Khin, T. Jade's brother and his girlfriend. Joshua and Joel had to go home for dinner, the kakak already cooked. haha Then we went back to T. Jade's place to melt chocolates. And we're supposed to dip it with marshmallows. But then, ma and pa came to pick me up before everyone arrived =( I shoved 2 marshmallows in my mouth and that was all. hehe. But it was great fun!

Yesterday was more crazier xDD

It was the Children Ministry's dinner. Which means all of us who are serving in the Children Ministry went out for makan =) In Rasa Nyonya.

Imagine us helpers tambah nasi 2 times, and finished. We also took lauk from the teacher's table. Yeap, we were very hungry!! Especially Adele and Samuel. They faught over typically every dish that came out.

In the end, the guys kalah xDD We girls ate more than them loh! boo!

So, it's the event of the night =) Photoshoot!!! The respective groups went out to take group photos, GS Kids was the last (but not least).

It was so crazy until it was unbelievable. At first it was the serious one, where everyone stood properly behind Rev. Tan. Then, the helpers punya group photo. Everyone stood properly at first, then we suggested the jumping. Okay, the picture turned out very ugly.

WHO KNEW THAT THE TEACHERS WANTED TO JUMP TOO!

llol!!!

Yeaps, all of them jumped, and it was a very very funny picture. I should be mean and put it up on GS Kids this week, yeah??? hmmm... I'll consider that xDDDDD

American Idol

Yesterday was the end of Hollywood week. So now it's the top 36. hey hey hey. It's gonna be crazy, and I really want to watch. But then, I need to studyyy. Time problem again.

Yesterday's show was 'gan jeong', not only for the contestants but for us too. I liked the judges mansion :) Looks like it belongs to Simon. haha

Anyways, here are some of the contestants. (in random)

Nick Mitchell a.k.a Norman Gentle. FYI he always dresses like that =.= And his acts on stage are superb. But the judges think he should be more serious!

Casey Carlson. I like this girl :) She's got style bebeh!

Scott Macintyre. He's blind, well almost. His sight is only a straw wide. But he can sing, and play piano. I support this guy!

Michael Sarver. The oil rig guy. All of us like him. He's really really good. =p

Anook! I remember he dressed so geek-ily to his audition. But he shocked the judges with his voice. geng.

Adam Lambert. He's pretty cute but I don't really like him. He paints his nails, you know? I know it's emo and everything but... ugh.

Von Smith. Simon said that he sings like a 10 year old, but I think he's okay. He can really shout!

Lil Rounds. Cool name huh? Wait till you listen to her singing. This mother of three will blow you off your seats.

Danny Gokey. He has a very sad story. His wife passed away few weeks before the auditions. But he's a massive singer. I support him too!!!

Jamar Rodgers. Danny's best friend, they went to the auditions together. He didn't make it to the top 36. All the contestants were shocked, even Ryan xD But he's good, and he got his own style bebeh!
Tomorrow's a school day =( & IT'S A SATURDAY. urgh. I so don't want to go tomorrow.

Jane, Jane

This might not be the perfect family portrait, but it's the perfect family :)
Captured Dec 2008, in Ah Set yiyi's padang, by kau fu.

I watched Becoming Jane on Saturday night. Starring Anne Hathaway as Jane, and James McAvoy, as Tom. (gah! I knew it was him!!!!).

The story's about how the famous Jane Austen became, well, Jane Austen. It was pretty boring at first, but then it was really great when it came to the middle part. and the end was okay.

I so liked the way that they danced!!!! HA! Very cool and people today won't probably do those dances anymore. If anyone's doing, you must teach me! Dude! Those cool moves :)

This was when Jane attended some kind of ball. I think it was the Lady something's ball. See the tall blonde guy standing at the right side of the picture, he's the Lady's nephew (Wisley). Who wants Jane to marry him. And also her dance partner, at that time. Tom Jones (James McAvoy) was another girl's dance partner. (gosh... I know you don't really get it. Watch the movie larh)

Jane and Tom. At the gate of Jane's house. They ran away. awww. But then, Jane decided to go home and leave Tom :( because she found out that Tom had to make money for his family who lives in the village somewhere. kesian....I like this picture BTW

I love Jane Austen in the movie so much. She was so independant, and so lovable. :) And it's a pretty good love story. Maybe it's not considered as a love story because both of them weren't together in the end. sigh. Tom married another woman and had a daughter, while Jane stayed single. But they still had love for each other, I think.

Some walk to remember

I love A Walk to Remember right now. The story is sooo touching! It's not like any love stories written today which I can say are, trashy. It's lovely and yet spiritual. Great book. It was sooo touching until I cried when I read the last chapters. whoa. Never cried when reading a book. nyyah! Wanna watch the moooovie!!!!

Anyways, while Landon have a walk to remember forever... I had to have a walk to somehow give me nightmares.

Presenting....

A walk in the school field.
tsk tsk

Today's Sports Day. And it sucked! We were forced to go on the field, you know. The teachers were shouting and shouting. The field was soooo friggin wet and muddy until the centipedes were crawling here and there! The ground was obviously moving. Like earthquake!!! So, I'm not commenting on anything. It was just a suckish day. I so don't want to go tomorrow. no no no

I hate mud. and the school field. and sports day. and teachers. and prefects :)
