zzz

Okay...here's the deal..

I'll may not be able to go online when I'm in KL, which is super ugh. There's no internet connection in my aunt's place so.. I won't be able to post. =( So, I'll be sleeping for one week, or two.

If I find any internet lounges in the malls, I'll surely go in and blog, or something.

No idea whether I'm excited or not =.= Yeaps..

I just want to shop, eat and buy! Oh... want to go visit Pavillion!! Nope, never been there before. No idea whether can afford the stuff sold there but it's going to be cool to just jalan-jalan. =) JLo there got know..

Going back to KL means makan. I want Carl's Jr. Then I'll be satisfied. That's the ONLY thing to my 'must go makan' list. The rest? don't care. Ku mahu Carl's Jr. aje..

Oh! and.. according to my dreaming plan (hehehe), need to get a new bag. From Momoe again I suppose. I think their bags are great, or I can go get the Jansport one? No idea. Need to buy loads and loads of earrings and bangles and bracelets and necklaces and rings. My accesories at home are getting rusty xD And I need clothes, loads of clothes. And shoes.

Gaya Christmas Celeb

17th December 2008

Our play! A very great way to start the Gaya Christmas Celebration. Haha . Although we were almost the last performance but I think we all did a great job. (As nice as the fireworks =P)

Our (Adele, Liana and I) things-to-do were as follows, for that special day :

1. Go shopping at Centre-Warisan
2. Head down to ma’s office. Auntie Mary helping us to put on our make-up
3. Ma sending us to All Saints’ for dinner
4. Gaya Street

Everything went sortta, as planned. Haha. We went shopping on time! Haha. Went to the arcade. Wanted to play car racing but then, it was all packed, so we went to play the japanese game with green, blue and red buttons. I didn’t play. The machine didn’t want to accept my token. Grrrr. Adele said that she wanted to play that music thingee game so..we all played. No lah… didn’t battle. The three of us played together. Liana was the two big red buttons, Adele was the 2 blue left buttons and the paddle while I was the 2 blue right paddles. Haha. We passed every stage and guess what we got?? ONLY a congratulations from the machine… =.=. but then, it was fun. Spent 40 minutes there, in the arcade 0.o

Next stop – Popular. Liana had to renew her card. I was supposed to renew mine too actually but ah.. malas. Hehe. Then, Liana bought Crispy popiah, as her lunch. I don’t know whether she’s full or not because the only ate ½ of it. Adele and I each ate a quarter. Oh well. We went to look for Auntie Pearl’s present too. We walked in all the gift shops, Fingerprints, footprints (the Christian store near Eaton’s), living culture blahblah… didn’t get any. =(

Now, the thing that we always do when the three of us go shopping. It’s like a shopping trip unfulfilled if we don’t do this – Taking sticker photos! We took the 18 bucks one, the one which Liana said was nice was apperently OUT OF ORDER! Oh yeah, the pictures were crazy, but the nicest so far. Haha. Oh… we also had 2 tokens. Then we saw this Philipino guy who was playing the music thingee…he was palying like a small kid and so after taking the photos, we went to challenge him. Haha. Imagine 3 ladies bullying a guy shorter than the three of us. He played seriuosly crazy loh! He was like banging every button and pressing the paddle so hard! Like mad… but then he lost and we WON! Whee! But again, a lousy congrats from the stinky machine. Can’t they give us tickets or something better? Perhaps a free round?

Walked across Warisan, to buy a purse before heading to KL. I know, you would ask me why didn’t I think of buying it in KL? Well, excuse me, how am I suppose to bring my cash to KL without a purse??? Hold it in my hands ah??

Before starting the mission, Adele said that she wanted to buy something to eat. So, stopped at the Daily Fresh kiosk (Is it a kiosk or just a stall?)… she bought the corn in a cup. Then when it came to paying for it, she found out that she only brought 10 bucks with her. =.=!!! At first she said that she had 30 bucks with her. So??? Turns out that she took 20 bucks the other day and shoved it into another bag so… yeaps. After buying the corn. Headed to EX. Yeah..I bought the purse. Not exactly my ideal one but then, can lah… I’m getting another one in KL..hehehe. But then, the purse cost me a fortune. I have only less than a 100 bucks for KL, due to no allowance.. no school=no allowance. Boo! Anyone generous enough to donate some money to the Abby foundation for the poor Abby? Hehe

We walked here and there in Warisan. Time was quite short. I said I wanted to grab Yoyo so we went there. I was out of cash, seriously. Only 2 bucks. Haha. So, we went to Just for You. Liana found a present for her mum. Then only we went to buy the yoyo. Wanted to gra some fries from McD but no time. Auntie Pearl said that she’s on her way already. So, we went out to the i-dunno-what door to wait for her.

Arrived mum’s office quite on time. Hehe. On;y few minutes late. Liana played with the intercom. =.- Then it was time for make-up! Okay, pretty flattering. I’m quite used to make up. If I had to go on stage larh. No way I’m going to the mall with make up, kay? Only on stage, where nobody may recognize this girl. Haha. I didn’t really like the mascara part. Yeah. Was pretty gross and smelly. The fibre? Oh.. one part of my eyelashes at the bottom was totally gone. Serious. Ah…

Uncle Abdullah goh goh helped Adele to wax her hair. Yeah. I had no idea what were they talking about. What this wax good this wax make people’s hair sticky blah blah… Waiting for my mascara to dry, it was Liana’s turn. deng deng deng! We had many laughs, she looked good in make up. Haha. But then, she was terrified about the make up more than Adele was!!! Adele was actually excited. She kept saying "don’t put so much!" or "I don’t want to do orh.." but when she sat on that chair, she was totally quiet! Hehe. Again, she looked so lady like with make up on.

We also had christmas trees drawn on our cheeks, like the Body Shop sales girls. It was cool. Only Adele and I had our faces drawn, Liana refused. Adele even had one glittered on her arm! Whoa girl! I’ll bring you shopping for some skirts bebeh! xD Agh. We were behind schedule now. Arrived All Saints’ super late. Supposed to be there at 5.30 but arrived there at 6 plus. I hate traffic lights now. No food for us to eat! Friggin. Then, only ate few pieces of potatoes and chicken. Kena marah summore. Zzz

More marah continued, Ps. Amy asked Adele and I to rub off the Christmas tree on our faces. It was really rude actually. Can’t she at least be more graceful or something? She was like, "Those who got Christmas trees on your faces you better rub it off now!!!" Like, using the tone to scold your employee when he wore a black suit/dress to the white ball or something. How did I feel?!Honestly, wanting to punch her in the face?.. Because there was really no reason to blow us off like that lorh… So, Dele and I terpaksa take tissue to rub off. I was friggin pissed loh… Then, we had to warm up our voices, while we were rubbing off the christmas tree. Didn’t even bother though. I was just really mad at the christmas tree thing. I think my face was really black, tons blacker than the 3 wise men punya moustache! Anyways, got through the practice. Then, we had to go already. Pastor said, "Sorry larh… but then we have to look uniformed." Okay, at that point I was rude, really, I didn’t answer her. I just went to the table where the people in the play was doing their make up. Wanted to touch up, my face was like, one side make up, one side no make up. You can feel one side heavy, one side light. Another thing, there was not a single powder on the table. Ended up borrowing Sarah’s blusher, no powder. Weird.

Then, we REALLY had to go to Gaya. Running late. We were put in Ps. Amy’s car. Why????? Only Liana and I, and another girl from the chinese youth. So opera. Jesslyn, Sharon, Kristin and Adele sat on Maxxy’s car.

No parking xD. For sure de lah… Colin ‘illegal parked’. Haha. Then, we were told to meet at the somewhere? at 8 and then only go backstage together. So, it was jalan-jalan time! Stalls were deadly the same. Saw Auntie Paulyn, helping people to face paint. 2 bucks only.. cheap cheap =) Then we saw the ASC stall(s). Don’t know how many stalls they had. No idea. Haha. Adele and I shared one fruit punch (?) Didn’t really taste like fruit punch but ah… was hot and hungry at that time. No complaining B! Surely it was oven! So, went back to the place where we were supposed to meet. Then, a little doggie greeted us, in Christmas dressing (Okay, not salad dressing, kay. It was wearing those Santa Claus baju…).

Again, really hot where we waited, between the stage and the state library. Auntie Paulyn was there again. She was talking pictures of the three wise men and the king and the old Joseph. Then, she said her camera no battery so used my camera. Here are the pictures.

When you take out the camera from my bag = camera gilaness!!! Whee! So, I started going crazy with the camera again. My usual, ‘simply shoot here shoot there’. ‘Simply shoot here shoot there’ means snapping pictures of people without their knowing. I love it! You’re able to snap people in very weird expressions or actions but then, to me it’s great because you can never shoot that expression if you ask them to pose. Another smart Abbygraphy technique =). Here are some.

Then came the ultra-crazyness!!! Hehe. We started shooting group photos!

Ding-dong-deng-dong!! It’s 9! Out turn to go up! Well, I didn’t think we went up at 9 sharp. Had to wait until the other act habis only can go on. So, we waited at the tent. The tent was super hot! Like a real oven. So, a few of us stayed outside. It was really really really hot! I felt like fainting loh! Then, one wise man (wah…this sounds cool! xD) said one of us from the choir should faint, then it would be a show! hehe. Yeah, remember the time when I fainted at the school padang all of a sudden? I stole the show xDD.

So, this is the time (David Cook?? :P). Break a leg people. We went up. Honestly, I didn’t feel any nerves. I’m ain’t boasting or anything but I’m actually pretty used to getting in front of crowds =) Wonder if that’s good or bad..? Anyways, everyone wished everyone the best. I think the stage shrinked a bit. I was standing closer to the drums than before. My place got all the cables berselerak there and WHY IS THE MICROPHONE SO NEAR TO ME?!?!?!

There was no microphone in front of us at first but then one suddenly popped out! Die. Hehe. But then, God sent someone to move that microphone away from me. Wahaha. The PA man placed it more towards the centre. Sang all the songs quite well, I guess. I was enjoying every song. No idea whether I looked cocky or not X) I loved the Emmanuel has come part, the last part. I was really oh-so-enjoying the whole song =). Then, spotlights off, Emcee back onstage and we went back to the tent.

That’s the end!
How I wish it could last a little bit longer..
Good, no good. Off key, no off key.
We pulled it off =)
Glory to God.

Oh! There were fireworks after we went offstage! So nice loh! Hehehe. I guess that’s when they announced that the Gaya Christmas Celebration is officially ….(?) Okay. I have no words to put in there. Officially started, maybe. xD

Wonder when will the Anglican Youth will be doing the play again? Next year? Hope we can do the modern nativity play like the one we saw in Singapore few years back. That will be so cool and so fun. Oh well, pray for it to happen. God bless all.

oh...this was during the rehersal on Monday. Kristin talked about Sushi!
Merry Christmas!!

Rehersal

Headed down town to Gaya Street for a rehersal yesterday. Wednesday, IS the big day. We were told to be there at 8 sharp but then, we were only able to go up stage to reherse at 9. So, we stood there for a total hour, plank. Well, the whole rehersal was great. Our choir group need to warm up our voices before we sing. I heard a lot of pitching problems coming out of the choir last night, I went off key too. haha.

Don't miss it!
We're on stage at 9 p.m tomorrow!
Come and support!

Right now, I'm addicted to the British reality show X FACTOR! That's the show which found Leona Lewis and Shayne Ward. Wonder how I get my eyes on the show?? haha. Sadly, it's not on Astro. Uncle Denis recorded it back in UK and sent it to me. Really great show! Summore, my favourite judge is there too! Simon Cowell. hahaha...

Leon Jackson. The winner of X factor 2007. He's super good =)

Oh! I like this guy's name - Eoghan Quigg. Fon kan? He sings really sweet.

I love this girl, Ruth Lorenzo. She's a spanish senorita! Got the Shakira umph in her.

Alexandra Burke. Nails every performance, every song!

I so want more of this show. Super cool, like all the contestants are super good and really fun. Go X Factor.

Now. Abby's camera in action. This is what I snapped during Colours of Christmas. One of my most proud pictures so far. :)

To some of you, it's not really fancy or you would say ' I shoot better'. But I think I did a pretty great job. =)
